Off to see OT for first time tomorrow. What can we expect?

Questionnaire for you regarding pg, birth, early development etc. Standard games and actviities for him - building towers with blocks, moving small objects around, copying drawings, puzzles, throwing and catching, hopping and balancing, memorising and repeating sequences - which OT will time and "score" as aprt fo the assessment , probably afterwards. It may be quite an intense session, or may span more than one depending on his concentration level , and be tiring.

Thanks. I had planned to whiz him back to school but sounds like some decompression time might be needed. I think he will find most of those things very difficult. He struggles to answer questions, and can't hop or stand on one leg at all. On the plus side he has just started to hold a pencil and drew me a picture today - I could've cried with pride.
