Ds, 4.2, dx of Autism, when we finally manage to sit him down to eat, he absolutely must have something under his feet, that he constantly moves around. Currently this will be anything to hand at the time.

I have looked around for something different (as the noise of whatever is too hand scaping around on the floor is slowly driving me mad). Can anyone recommend something that worked for them. Thanks

Thanks... foot rest sounds fab, will get googling!

He still sits at a table in the dining room that my DH made for them, (has coloured painting's on it) as he won't sit at the big table, so can still reach the floor, and unless he has something under foot to move around, we can't keep him sat there for very long.

Mrz uses something at school like a wobble cushion but for your feet. Repost in primary ed and see if she answers.
