Blue Badge - At long last!!

It's arrived! I keep looking at this overly large credit card and wondering how come it took so long to get one for DS. Anyway it's here now, and I will be very glad of it the next time I need to take him for a Hospital appointment or to the shops. I know that the Blue Rinse Brigade will be tutting at us, but sod 'em!

we regularly get 'the look' because we have a BB for our 8 year old. I have even been questioned before - whereby I waved a fistfull of hospital letters at them [we were on our way there at the time.] A thick skin needed with any disability or SEN it seems. I don't give a toss, he needs his BB and they can think what they like. They often look shifty though when his wheelchair comes out of the boot.

Congratulations... and I say sod 'em too, some folk have too much time on their hands.

Have just applied for one for ds, not holding my breath though!

Baboos. Good luck. He needed HRM to get it, as our lovely LA don't recognise ASD as a disability even though he is an accident waiting to happen, plus he's deaf......
