I just booked my ticket for a talk Temple Grandin is giving on 18th June in Reading, here is the link on the NAS website:

To say i'm excited would be an understatement, I LOVE Temple, her books have helped us so much and I just think this is a great opportunity to meet her so book while you can! Tickets are £20 plus VAT, so £24 and you can only buy one ticket at a time.

Lucky you! :)

One day she will be closer. Infact I wonder if we can book her to go into schools and give them a sensory ear bashing!!!

If you queue up afterwards to get her to sign a book, don't expect her to make eye contact or any small talk! I know from experience. SHe is a great speaker and you forget that she just doesn't do those things, at least she didn't 10 years or so ago when I saw her.
