Having been talking in another thread it has made me curious.
My dd has cp and I often wonder if she will learn to read. Is there anyoneone out there(I sound like pink floyd) who has a child with cp who has learnt.
My dd is 10 and doing well.

my dd has cp spastic diplegia and also docs are querying whether it also affects her hands in some form.
DD is 5.6 yrs and in year 1 at school and she is learning to read atm and keeping up with her mainstream peers(not at the top of the class-but around the middle to bottom i think....but she is also an august birthday(5 days later and she would now only be in reception and p/t)

I suppose it is harder for my dd as she can't talk.
