Dd's literacy teacher stopped me on the way out of school today to tell me dd had got 114 out of 115 in a big spelling test the top score in yrs 3 and 4 and wanted to tell me how proud she was and how she appreciated how much work we must have done at home.

Was too embarrassed to admit that I had taken the list from her bag and "filed it" with other letters and hadn't even shown it dd .

Good job dd can spell to make up for her mother's lax attitude to homework tbh .
