DD moving a lot in sleep, worried she may hurt herself...

Hi All,

My DD (2 yrs old with Down's) has always moved a lot in her sleep. It tends to be round in circles.

The problem is that lately she's started bumping into the bottom of her bed mid rotation, although not hard enough to wake her up. I'm worried she may hurt herself, so i'm having to get up on average about 5 times a night to move her away from the sides / ends of her cot bed.

We've tried adding a pillow to her bed, in the hope this makes her stay in one place. We've also tried a blow up toddlers ready bed, both without much success.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

DS moves around alot at night and I often hear him bang his head on the wall beside his bed. Fledglings do a inflatable sheet bumper which might help it's on page 20 of the catalogue.
