SN children

Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

So we've seen the Ed Physch and finally got some answers, language and auditory processing disorder...

We have finally had a really productive meeting with the Ed Physch. She was so shocked that DS had not been referred sooner, particularly when I told her that we asked last Easter for him to be statemented and was told he wasn't 'bad enough'

We are applying for statutory assesment which takes 6 months, I'm really hoping it gets approved in time for the transfer to secondary school.

DS has a language and auditory processing disorder which I am slowly finding out more about. Can anyone recommend any support groups or recommend any books or make any other suggestions??

TIA
