Aspergers 13 yr old wants to smoke

he is asking people everytime we go outside and a lot of people are giving them for free , he running away bolting to go do this trying to sell stuff, says i should give in and buy him them. wtf do I do he is abotu 6 foot and the aggressive kind any suggestions

He is already lving pt with his gran and they won't allow it so he is trying to come back home, thinking I will allow it but i cant but then he is doing ti anyway and wtf, then he will think he rules us all.

You need to assert yourself.

You wouldn't let an NT 13 year old smoke and neither should you enable a 13 year old even if he has Aspergers.

In fact, with Aspergers he has an even greater need for clear boundaries.

That's what we are doing he will be stuck in and no money until it stops. He was begging people for them at local shop we told him we will call the police if he does that again. As he was escaping out the window to go do that what a stressful day

My son is 13 and has aspergers he doesnt go out much ......it might be a phase as thye get ideas about things and want to carry them out ......i know if my son wants somehting to do with his computer he goes in about it until i deal with it....good luck..

He has stopped last two days the thought of locked windows and doors and no trips out or holiday in summer and only getting out to go to school . Or stop smoking . He chose freedom and we had a lovely two days going out and about. Cannot guarantee he won't do it at school as I'm not there but to get pocket money reinstated he has to stop at school too so I'm more hopeful and glad I didn't give in.
