Something with DD is changing but for better or worse?

She is 14 months and has some gross motor delay, has been commando crawling for three months, starting to cruise but not yet pulling up on own, will walk everywhere holding our hands though.
No Dx, other than weak trunk, possibile hypermobility.
Well last few days she has been getting onto her front in her cot, playing with her toys and then crying, or getting up into sitting and then crying.
In the middle of the night and during naps.
She must be getting stuck and tired on her front but she can roll onto her back so not sure why she isn't.
She has never really moved off her back while in her cot until now.
This is normal for NT kids isn't it but normally when they are about 8 months not 14! She's never been a great sleeper do getting up to her is no surprise.
It is a good or a bad thing do you think?

Sounds like she is having a bit of a developmental spurt maybe? I remember my dd at about the same age (who also has low trunk tone) suddenly moving around in her cot and I would find her in all sorts of positions rather than flat on her back!
