Our G YR 1 dxd HF ASD delayed expressive language is in a mainstream school.

I think I have fallen out with all the people who attend for various reasons:

Not observing SEN code of practice.

Not observing my educational rights.

Not really assessing his needs.

Professionals having opposing opinions.

Not agreeing with what I say.

Making me do all the work.

Instead of being the Team Around the child it seems to be Team Against the Child and so I have had enough and want to drop out as it does not seem to be working. Is there anybody out there that says NO DON'T DROP OUT? and for what good reasons as I am sure I could grin and bear it for G.

Does your son have a Statement?. If not I would apply for such a document myself fromt he LEA and ignore any potential naysayers. A statement if obtained would be of far more use.

You are Gs best and only advocate here as you have clearly seen.

CAF is a lot of hot air in my opinion.
