I need advice on a 14 yr old who is severley Dyslexic and been a school refuser since he was 6. He hasw been bullyed in the past and self harmed. I have been every where i can think and it rules our lives. His school have now filled out a caf which i am told is my 14yr olds. So he says what goes on it and if he does not want to do what the outcome is he does not have to. Therefore nothing of any importance is on it. I feel it is a waste of time and as a parent i have no say. This does not help me with getting him to school and does not help him. I have also just found out that the form has not been regestered though the school said it had. Any ideas on what to do please.

You could ask school if you could also have some input into this, i know your ds is 14 and as this help is for him, he should have a say in it, but school should still work in partnership with you too.

You. Should have a say. They need to organise a multi agency meeting and invite you and your son to participate.
