Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

So glad HT is one of the good ones

Dd's AR in a couple of weeks of a statement that gives her far more support than she needs. We keep it anyway, situations change and I'd never get one again if it lapsed and I had to reapply. So each year school and myself meet to make sure reports tally, justify support and to check that any changes we want the other is in agreement and agree how we are going to get them.
So got email today asking me to pop in to see school's proposed report to check I agree and to make an appointment so that it's a done deal when LIO attends at AR Grin
Somehow think that's how it should be really.

It is how it should be insanity.

We are really lucky to have a fab HT at Dd3's school he is amazing and has an inspirational staff team around him.

Dd3 is getting so much support i have to pinch myself sometimes in case it is a dream and she is still at her old school.

In fact you have reminded me to buy another box of biccies for the staff room.Grin
