Littlest DS started his Special School today. He was so excited that he woofed down his breakfast and was heading for the door still in his pyjamas!!
Hoping for a happy but tired boy at the end of school today. Smile

Littlebear had the BEST DAY EVER!!! I picked him up from school, and he ran up and flung himself at me GrinGrin. A very good sign Smile
The relief I feel is enormous, knowing that he is in the best place for his needs and current abilities.

LittleBear is 5. He was dx with ASD at just over 2, is deaf and can't speak. Communication is tricky to say the least! The SLT said that he had a communication age of 0-5month old with 5-8mos emerging. Depressing to hear, but his new school have an excellent reputation with communication needs and developmentally delayed kids. So I am hoping for some positive progress! Smile

Thank you for all the good wishes. It was so nice to take him to school without him screaming at the sight of school, the road it's on, the corner before the road. You get my drift! Smile
