My LA are having a laugh - he has asd, adhd and a learning difficulty, devolved funding to a mainstream primary yeah sure - I give them until he starts year 2!!

Ha. ha. ha .ha!!

OK LA if you are reading, it's not funny anymore (3rd sen child round) and yes I will take you to tribunal!! Letters are in the post w***s!!

I just could have done with a break from all the carp and paperwork and hassle...........

We got one too. Then miraculously on the first day of the new financial year, 2 weeks later, after we said we were appealing, they had changed their minds! Haven't actually seen the statement yet so I will wait and see, but what the hell is the point of the panel if they just change their minds 2 weeks later?

There is no 'panel' really.

All decisions are the sole responsibility of the LA Education Officer (who pretends that they've taken advice from "a panel" in order to reach an appropraite decision - which is utter bollocks)

Sorry wasuup. It does seems to be getting more common. I hadn't heard of anyone getting one until fairly recently. Just another hoop to jump through, hopefully.

Sorry. Its amazing isn't it they are just so programmed to behave in this way. I keep thinking they know me well enough now to stop messing around with illegal bollocks now, but no, every time they stick to the script and try on the same old crap.
