Just wondering if anyone can recommend any good websites for my 7 year old DS . He has expressive and receptive language delay. What i would like is an interactive website he can use. Just trying to find ways to keep him interested and engaged in his work.

I have tried this with my DS2. He seems to shy away from anything I suggest. All he seems to want to do is write his life story. Seems strange but it's got him engaged. DD has also started hers!

Actually it's very interesting reading. It's like seeing his life from his point of view rather than mine.

I seem to have that problem too....any suggestions I make do not interest him! The life story seems like a good idea but at the moment I'm not sure if he has the descriptive abilities to do that. Then again i might be underestimating him. Might give it a go and see how it goes for him! Maybe with the help of photos it might just work :). Thanks for your recommendation...its sometimes so hard to keep coming up with new ideas!

We often talk with our DC about funny events in their life and this is what they seem to want to write about, but with their own take on it. It's funny how they remember it completely differently to us!

Oh yeah my DS loves to hear all about his younger years too...bless!
