hi my ds2 has sn and every time the ice cream man comes ,he goes on meltdown when he hears the tune ,hands go over ears shakes etc been crying for over an hour can anyone suggest and ear muffs etc that blocks noise out ,this is day in day out :(

They are really good ones.

DS loves his. He takes them to beavers now for when they are doing loud shouty stuff

we've got some of those too, they are fab - she can still hear but not 'the bad stuff'

I feel your pain !
It's not the same,but the ice cream van comes every day at the same time as DS's school bus.....cue meltdown if he doesn't get ice cream.I wouldn't mind,but it's EVERY day.

what I did in the end is to ask the ice cream man if he could change his time a little bit.....and he did .Now they only coincide sometimes,which is fine
