Interesting article on parenting course

I thought this was quite interesting on parenting courses.

I like the quote from Justine Roberts - don't know quite what mumsnet would do if all the mums followed this advice!!

This isn't about addressing need. This is a political article showing the country that all problems stem from parents who are being adequately supported with 'schemes' that by choice they may refuse and therefore can't complain if they or their children end up in poverty/prison.

Eh? Where on earth does it say that? The article points at the lack of evidence for parenting courses being of any use.

One of mine is watching educational cbeebies and the other is drawing the planets of the solar system. I'm doing housework in prep for ILs visit which means after every 3 trips up and down the stairs I can sit down (being 7m pg and all) Grin
