4 nights in hospital this time and I spoke to him on the phone just now to tell him that I was coming home today. This gorgeous little voice piped up "I missed you". Cue floods of tears from me. In September I had a total of 11 nights away in hospital in 2 stays and he didn't miss me at all and I was posting on here upset that he didn't show any empathy.

It just goes to show that they might not do things when they are meant to but they can still pick them up later and surprise us. Grin

Brilliant, moments like that are so special. I expect he missed you last time but couldn't say.

The physio did look very concerned when she walked in just after that something bad had happened Grin

DS who is tactile defensive has started linking his arm with mine sometimes when I am close. It's amazing when these little things happen. Congratulations,
