I have to tell you all about DD1's new house

It's so easy to always post about the negative stuff.

In July 2011 the LA Housing OT assessed our current rental house, and deemed it unsuitable for DD1. DD1 was having a particularly bad day Grin She got us moved to Band 2 on the register.

In February 2012 a house came up in our village, so I bid on it. We were offered it!!!

So, with a few dramas (Wallpaper turned out to be the only thing holding the plaster on the wall Shock) we can finally start decorating it and move in during the Easter break Smile

We are so lucky. The house has 3 bedrooms, but downstairs there is a lounge, dining room (which will be a playroom) and a large space at the bottom of the stairs creating effectively a third room downstairs. The house has it's own driveway, a garage and a huge garden.

DD1 only ever talks about being a farmer. So we're going to get some chickens and have a veg patch Grin

Justa, if you're reading this, thank you for your support with the housing issue. I can't quite believe that we have a 'dream house'. Somebody knew exactly what we needed Wink

Brilliant news Smile very happy for you all, very best wishes in your new home. having a huge garden is a massive bonus, my garden is huge too just like a wee play park for my ds as he cant play outside like his 2 brothers, he doesnt have friends etc so the garden is his own safe haven where he can enjoy his trampoline and lots fresh air. Hope the move goes well x
