DS had his first review at school today - he's 4 with ASD and LD and had been attending a fantastic speciall school since September. It couldn't have been better, he has settled in so well and has made a lot of progress already, small steps but progress is progress!!!
I feel so lucky that ds is in a school that is such a good fit for him, I had to fight for it as LEA were trying to fob me off with mainstream nursery for another year but it was worth the fight!!!
I can't praise the school highly enough - they are now part of our extended family, I get called by my first name and the staff including the head go above and beyond in what they do - nothing is too much trouble.

Glad that you have found a good school. Hope your ds continues to thrive.

Cwtch, that's such good news. It's fantastic when you find people who really care and do a good job. So glad your DS is doing well. Smile

My DS2 went to a lovely SS but it only went up until the end of Reception, so sad to leave it for MS. Same sort of atmosphere, first name terms, feel part of the family. So much so, I still go to all their fairs 7 years later!

Was going to bed but have to read the proud mummy posts! They are so important :)

What a great outcome for you and your DS and long may it continue!

These kinds of posts really make me smile. I'm really pleased to hear that things are going so well.
