Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

Is anyone selling a SWifty SN buggy or similar?

We've just had our reassessment at the wheelchair services and DS's needs have changed and he needs a more supportive buggy. (We currently have an EIO, but it's not supportive enough). They are providing us with a fab one which suits where we live- it's big and has big tyres for going on unmade roads etc which is great as we walk lots, but it's too big for our boot.

So, I'm after a second hand buggy which will fit in our car. It needs to be supportive, fold small and have a continuous handle and also weigh less than 15 KG. The only one I know which fits the bill is a tendercare Swifty. It doesn't need tilt in space.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hope someone can help :)

are you on facebook? There's a few groups on there now that have parents selling second hand equipment. Special Needs Equipment ~ Buy Sell Swap currently has a new bug for sale, don't know how good that would be for you though.

Hiya, Thanks for your reply:)
I am on the FB group, but the bug weighs 18 kg and according to the reviews is heavy to push.

The Swifty is about the only buggy I know which is supportive enough and light enough :(
