Initial appointment at CAMHS

Hi all DS has his inital appointment on monday just wondering what it may involve so I can be prepared.

I think the initial appointment will involve them getting some kind of a sense of his development (your pregnancy, birth, pnd and then all the baby/toddler milestones) but they will also ask you to specify what your main concerns are at present so that they will have some sense of where they should direct you for the next stage.

It's hard to remember some of the development stuff so worth thinking about ahead of time (or locating your HV booklet!).
