I would. Ours took less time than that, although it was a first time claim. Sent form I think beginning of Feb, got money in the account about 3-4 weeks later. Mind you, I did send my DS bodyweight in evidence Grin

wips I got a letter saying it would be 8 weeks, but still got it in half the time, so you never know.

Fingers crossed! Will be v pissed off if it's turned down this time.

We've just got our renewal back - took 5 weeks and they had checked medical reports in that time. Good luck, it feels like a long wait doesn't it..

sazza76 · 31/03/2012 00:21

Ours took about 5 weeks and they had asked for medical reports from my GP in that time.

I posted ds2's on 13 th feb and got the decision letter yesterday ( renewed same rate 3 more years yay!). So it was about 6 weeks. No idea if the asked for extra reports tho , they did n't say .. I suspect they just looked at my many typewritten extra sheets, groaned and awarded :D

Letter today asking for more info / copies of reports. Have not got any reports but have given them permission to get them from paed/salt/OT/physio. Fingers crossed still...
