sertraline

Has anyone got any exprience of treating social anxiety with sertraline?
The doctor wants to put my 14 year old DS on it.

does it have any other names....................we have tried prozac and citalopram on our DS age 11.

dd is on sertraline, it is helping her, it helps with social anxiety, panic attacks etc, she has dx of asd amongst other things.

I take it myself have done for the past 6 months. Initially prescribed for anxiety it has improved all aspects of my life and really wish I had been given it as a teenager. It has made me feel much more sociable and less prone to anxiety and anger issues.
