It is extremely weird...just...my daughter (2) and totally non-verbal gives these huge giggles when she sees him that I have developed a wopping great mummy crush! Blush

Snort - Hilarious! Before we joined the land that is special needs (and for what its worth I bloody hate Holland) I used to find him really a bit creepy but now I've seen the progress that my two have made watching Something Special I've developed a teeny tiny soft spot. I get where you're coming from

I saw one thread in Chat once about the phwoar factor of Mr Bloom. I always laugh and think of that thread when he says 'Hello My Dear, My how you've grown' like it is some lusty inuendo.

No.... but I did get a major crush on the psychologist assessing my ds.... Blush. He was just my type anyway, and he was so fab with ds that I was always gonna think he was wonderful. (DH was great, and just used to tease me about it.)

no, you clearly need therapy of some sort, I love something special but I wouldn't go that far Grin However I believe you are not alone, there was a thread quite a while back now of like minded ladies, he also got at least one marriage proposal when he visited mnhq for a webchat.

Firsttimer7259 · 21/03/2012 19:38

I am clearly a freak of nature but must dig up the webchat. Grin
I think its more that I am totally in love with my D laughing, its the only time I hear her voice really (apart from crying)...altho he does do that eyebrow waggle that gets her giggling and ...I do like a good eyebrow waggle!

I do realise this.

Luckily my H has always been really good with children. It was a definite point in his favour when we met as I knew I wanted to find the man I would have children with. And he is still really good with children and with our girl.

Just Mr Tumble...well...you should hear her laugh its gorgeous

Nope. But DGS who has CP and not able to speak clearly yet rolls around laughing at dave lamb doing the waybuloos! Same sarky/ironic delivery as 'come dine with me' and viewable on you tube. He was taken off after one episode as mums complained in their droves! DGS also laughs at mr tumble but gets bored with the out and about bit!

something special was the only tv my dd3 would watch for a long time and was lovely to see her getting so much out of it, but she has now moved on to peppa pig and that just makes me want to scream Grin The thread about daddy pig may just have been slightly disturbing Grin

fancy - no, that's pushing it. In immense awe of his communication skills and skills and compassion towards kids with SN though!

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 21/03/2012 21:50

Blimey, Justin Fletcher. You should have seen him on Fun Song Factory, 15 years ago. He looked about 20 and was thin! Him and Dave Benson Phillips. It was my DS2's favourite programme, we had loads of old VHS tapes. But fancy him? Noooo!

creatovator · 21/03/2012 22:28

My kids love him in Justin's House. He's great with kids, but so is my DH, so no can't say I fancy him!

Firsttimer7259 · 22/03/2012 10:50

OK so fancy is a bit strong [backpedal emoticon] its more the 'wouldnt he be the most amazing dad'...have to say this is off youtube clips so wonder how I feel after an entire episode....I imagine I might feel a bit overloaded.
