Well, hes been out of school for getting on 3 months now and still no home tutor.

EWO are in trouble as we have written to the Director of Education telling her of the underhand ways that the EWO has used, eg-getting a CAMHS secretary to go through DS notes on the phone with her without us giving permission, weve had threats left on answer phone re starting legal proceedings etc, DS consultant has written a very detailed letter saying in her opinion that they should progress the home tuition but they are still arguing that her evidence isnt good enough.

IPSEA have told me that all LEA,s are reluctant to provide home tutors and are bullying us and that maybe we should think about a solicitor-so we have done.
The solicitor has told us not to agree to any meetings or have any conversations on the phone, she said she will deal with them from now on and she will kick up a stink about them breaking the confidentiality act, oh and last week when DS had his ADOS assessment they rang CAMHS to ask for the results!!!!! WE dont even know them yet, we find out tomorrow.

But the most important things are the solicitor has told us that they will have to provide a home tutor for DS and that they cannot legally prosecute us.

Most probably stating the obvious here, but is there any chance that your ds could try out at another school? Would he be prepared to do that or has his experience of his current school put him off altogether. Did he have any friends at school at all? Do let us know what diagnosis they come up with tomorrow. Good luck.

No he doesnt want to go to school at all, CAMHS have said that he needs therapy before he goes back and thay think he will do better in the meantime with a home tutor.

He cant cope with any social situation at present and we dont want to rush him.

BUT, the LEA dont want to provide him with a tutor so thats why we have now got a solicitor involved.
