DS2 has just eaten his first separate, non- disguised, non- hidden green vegetable for 6 years. Broccoli.

I am one happy woman.

Well done!

Really good news.

Broccoli? How did you manage that? Grin My DS will tolerate peas, but only in a mix with sweetcorn, and then there has to be more sweetcorn than peas!

dd1 will only eat two non-disguised or non-mixed into things (eg spag bol) veg:

broccoli and cauliflower.

she goes nuts for them. odd girl Grin

well done ds2 - if he's done it once, he'll do it again, even if it takes a while (we quite often get an instant retreat froma new and happily demonstrated skill, only for dd1 to take a while to build back up to it; but it does come back eventually)

Becaroooo · 19/03/2012 16:48

My ds2 calls them "trees" Smile

Long may it continue!!!

signandsmile · 19/03/2012 17:42

Hope it wasn't a one off. Well done to him!

Silverfrog, DS2 is the same with brocolli and cauliflower. Although he did eat cabbage the other week when I told him it was chopped up brocolli, or brocolli salad as h now calls it Grin
