Annual Review Minutes- have I a right to see them?

Does anyone know if there is any reason why I may not be able to have a copy of minutes of our AR ie. a record of everything that was said. It seems that my Senco is going to send a list of actions from the AR. She has seemed unhappy about giving me a full set of minutes from a previous meeting we had, and I suspect I will have difficulties getting minutes from the AR, even though her secretary was clearly taking notes of all conversations. What could be going on here? I don't consider a list of actions as minutes do you?

I don't see any legal reason why they can be withheld from you. If they persist in being difficult, then you can request them as part of a Subject Access request any way.

I would be very suspicious as to the motives for withholding them and only providing a list of actions!

I took my own minutes at the annual review. I had asked for the school secretary to take them but she was too busy apparently, so I took them myself!

It is always a good idea to make comprehensive notes at meetings, though it can slow things down, as I find myself asking for clarification Wink
