i have never seen her so happy, so motivated and so blooming graceful as when she was in the air - the child who can't walk in a straight line through the lounge, the one who bangs her head getting onto a dining chair, the one who stamps her feet and wails in frustration trying to put her coat on REALLY CAN FLY!!

she's started trampolining lessons and was still talking about it this morning.

i have tears again just picturing her little face as she bounced higher and higher... it was amazing, the coach said it was amazing SHE IS AMAZING

sorry for yet another self indulgent post, but at least this one is good news Blush

Grin

that's fab.

dd1 does trampolining once a week with school. she loves it.

her last school (where she also went trampolining) videoed a little bit for me to see, and it was fantastic to see ehr really trying to do the same (basic - dd1 has motor imitation issues) moves. you could really see the intent, iyswim, even if the end result was not quite what it should have been!

it's lovely when they can do an activity they 'get', isn't it? well done your dd.

thanks silverfrog, yes it's something she 'gets'

i mean she dances but she struggles to not fall over and can't hop some days, but she really can fly Grin

DH and i have to stay while she has the lesson, and we noticed so much more, like when the coach was showing her what he wanted her to do, she imitated his facial expression and even copied him sitting Grin but did i mention, she can really fly? Wink
