What are you asking exactly? Autism isn't simply delayed langauge. It often forms part of the impairments associated with being on the spectrum but not always.

Hildy, I hope you don't mind me asking, but do you have some SN of your own?

Lots of parents on here do btw, but if we know we can be a bit more accommodating.
