Might it have something to do with academic ability? How they cope with their learning rather than emotions?

Ineedalife · 05/03/2012 21:05

They don't seem to think to use plain english. I once went with a friend to a meeting because she felt intimidated by the three members of staff who would end up using initials for agencies when discussing her daughter.

I kept stopping them with "Sorry, We don't know who you mean or what they do"...it was a long meeting!

To be fair they must get used to talking to each other and forget that we might not be familiar with the speak...you just have to ask them. Wink
