Tribunal - finish time

Does anyone know if there is an absolute cut off time of day beyond which a Tribunal will be wrapped up or roll over for a second day ? I am trying to work out childcare logistics. Thanks in advance

Ours ran on until about 4.30. My DP had to be excused to go and look after the kids! I would expect 5pm to be the end as they are usually all back on the train to wherever they are from at the end of the day.

The chucked us out at 4:30 and reconvened according to diaries which over the summer meant 2 months until my legal advocate insisted it was finished in written form. They are trying really hard to keep time limits down now because no. of appeals have massively increased since LAs have been able to excuse their responsibilities due to 'budget cuts'. They are being tight about no. Of witnesses etc. too and even about evidence submission deadlines, where they weren't before (this only ever went in favour of LAs anyway, I mean what parent would ever miss a deadline ).

Our Tribunal was scheduled for half a day, in the afternoon - luckily we got there early and so they asked us if they could start half an hour early and we still went on to 6:30pm!
We really needed a whole day, but I think that they were short of "slots" so shoe-horned us into a half day slot.
We still won!

thank you all so much. I am totally bricking it and am now fussing over what outfit to wear as I normally live in converse and jeans. As if that's the most important aspect of the day !

Dress as a respectful mum, not a business woman and don't wear anything expensive.

II agree go for smart mum look - I work brown trousers with brown floral top!
