My DS is 2.5 and has possible dx of asd or SCD. He started ABA 5 months ago and has progressed well but we never saw an EP to get a baseline as waiting lists too long and appointment only available now.
Anyhow, DS has progressed loads so I can't see how it's possible to take a base line anymore but we have an EP booked in a couple of weeks.
Ds will be starting mainstream preschool in sept, I don't know of he will need a shadow or not.
I have asked EP to do a through assessment of Ds strengths and areas which will need ongoing support. What should I expect from the appointment and to be included in the subsequent report? We've never seen an EP before so I just want to make sure we get the most benefit out of it for DS.
