ASD and sleep apnea

Hi my ds1 3years dx with ASD and now they have told me he have got sleep apnea and need 2 have a OP...hm...will this help his ASD?

I'd imagine it might help slightly, as if he's less tired, more physically healthy then hopefully it will help his concentration/behaviour a bit.

Samira. Have you seen a respiratory team? Did they do a sleep study? What type of operation are they talking here? Does he have a small jaw and does he obstruct when he sleeps?
