Wasn't sure if anyone had already posted about this, so thought I'd post up some links just in case.
The Office for Disability Issues is asking for people to comment on the discussion document, 'Fulfilling Potential', for the new Governmental Disability Strategy . You can get hold of a copy here.
Tight deadline though, as all responses have to be in by 9 March.
A few individual organisations are holding consultation events in order to better inform people about the implications of the discussion paper and give them the opportunity to share their views.
If you google 'Fulfilling Potential Consultation Event for Governments Disability Strategy' you will find quite a few events in different areas. The ones I've been told about directly are being held by:
Inclusion London on 1 March
and
Wolverhampton Parent Partnership on 2 March.
