Saw this mentioned in a thread a few days back but can't find much on the net or in archived messages. Anyone know if there's an association or specific training centre for the teacher/therapist? If your kid does this could you enquire for me? Thanks!

Never heard of Bounce Therapy specifically but I have heard about research into the benefits of trampolining. Don't know if this is the same thing. In the NAS magazine there is always an advert for a company selling trampolines and they state that there is research (I know, they would, but I'm sure its true). I also heard at a lecture I went to about Self Injurious Behaviour that trampoling is PROVEN to be the biggest reducer of anxiety from all tried interventions....!!!
SO, what is Bounce Therapy then? WOuld love to know more.

davros - got the "bounce therapy" off some post a week or so ago about different therapies so assumed that was what trampolining for SN kids was called!
So maybe someone can enlighten me - if SN kids go trampolining is it just with an ordinary teacher or someone trained with SN kids? Are they 1 on 1 sessions? Want to put DS doing it but not sure if I can send him to any old lesson
