Dd3 came into the kitchen, picked up a carton of juice from the fridge and then walks out. After a minute or so she comes back in, walks round and round the kitchen several times and then says

"Where do they keep the flippin cups in this place!!"
I laughed and said "In the flippin cupboard"

She has lived here all her life, we have only moved the cups once about 3 years ago!!Grin

Grin hahahaha! I like it!

You are right sometimes (quite often actually!) DS cracks me up!

Eldest DD and her mate were in her room with DS dancing to music the other night. I popped up with a drink for him and he was having a convo with them. DD was talking about her bf she has and the convo went

DS xxxx ? who is this xxxx?
DD he is my boyfriend
DS Shock you have a boyfriend? (hands on hips eyes narrow and whispers) Does mum know about this?
DD laughing yes ds mum knows about this
DS hmmmm so when am I going to meet this xxxx
DD we will go out together soon
DS ok but I need to check him out first Grin
DS to DDs friend Do you have a BF?
Friend Yes but he doesnt like me very much
DS Dump him then! (folds arms)
ME laughing I say Yep! knock it on the head!
DS Spins round and gives me a straight look and said MUM THAT wont earn you many friends!

He thought I meant to actually knock her BF on the head lol!

When I was 16 and going out with my first proper boyfriend my youngest brother (he has Asperger's and was 11 at the time; rarely spoke to anyone outside the family) found him waiting in the hall for me once. He stopped on the stairs, looked at him and said "I. Don't. Like. You." and went upstairs. He was right, the guy was a jerk! (He approved of the next guy so I'm still with him after 9 years Wink)

Ha! Your brother had excellent 6th sense then :)

Trouble with DS is he is so blunt. DD had a friend in the car whom I said I would give a lift but had to collect ds from school. On way out I explained that there was someone else in the car, his name and that he was a nice friend. DS says ok and skips over to car, gets in then studies him with is back of the skull look and announces to DD "who is that and what is that doing in the car and can you tell that, that I dont like his hair there is too much of it" No wonder she hasnt introduced her BF to him yet Grin

I think so now - was a bit horrifiedt at the time as it was pre diagnosis and we just though he was ''a bit of a handful'

At about 10 he walked into our local PO and loudly announced 'ergh It smells of old people !'' - being pension day - It did !

At a friends funeral he greeted every guest with ''Did you know Mick's dead and were going to cook him?''

Dd comes out with crackers but can't think right now Blush

Ineedalife · 21/02/2012 17:02

Oh raspberry, I hope you write them down, they are classics.Grin

I work with really little ones and have started to write down the funny things they say and sticking them in their scrapbooks. Some of them will really embarress[sp] the parents but they are so funny.Grin

DS is 8 and has been doing a school project about China. After coming home from school one afternoon he asked me if we could buy some bamboo plants for the garden. I asked him why and he said " it's because we never have any interesting animals in our garden and if we grow bamboo we might attract some pandas." I explained that they only live in China to which he replied "well it won't take them very long to get to our garden will it?"
