Hello all

Hope you are all surviving half term???

Ds1 had a hospital appt today re: his bowel issues and rectal bleeding (long story short they arent too worried) and he had to have a blood test.

He was so brave and didnt cry

Then on the way home we were talking about eygpt and the eygptians and he was talking about "the cat in the big hat" and it took me a while to figure out he meant the sphinx!!!!! Grin

Dd1 had a blood test for food allergies when she was little, the Dr said hold her legs please, I said she will kick me if I hold her legs and he said I would rather she kicked you than me!!!Hmm

ineed Ha! Oh yes, paeds (and paramedics IME) are very good at making sure the parents are the ones that get kicked/weed on/puked on!!! Smile

He wasnt very happy at all today tbh...he hates the hospital (with good reason poor kid) and was a bit Hmm at the professor we saw...kept looking at him when he asked him questions as if to say "well, isnt that obvious??!" Blush

He didnt like the physical exam....got a bit anxious and tearful but was a star getting his bloods done..even asked the nurse to look at the vials!!! (he told me later it was still warm...ewwwww)

Coff Stinks! Like it! Smile

My youngest DS is the best thing I've ever done for DS2. Playmate and role model. Smile

My mum's been a bit brighter today, thank goodness. I'm seeing the solicitor tomorrow about the financial settlement, so hopefully things are looking up. Thanks for asking. X
