Not particularly related to this board but another example of how people that raise concerns are treated in case anyone is interested.

Interesting.

I don't know why the LGO don't have a whistleblower's hotline to initiate investigations. I understand Ofsted and other organisations do.

Those dealing with vulnerable people - children or adults - should have a very clear route to complain if they suspect wrongdoing.

I was told that if I had any concerns I should go to the CQC - that was by the company I was working for!

No i haven't seen private eye for many years but I may take a peek now I have been reminded it exists. Thanks for your post Smile

starlight just incase I have been my usual vague self, I posted the link to show the manner in which the whistleblower was treated such that he left his job initially. I don't know how things will ever improve if people are treated like this person was when there was clearly good reason for them making their concerns known, it was not malicious yet it seems he was treated like it was and he was adversely affected seemingly without any route of recourse.
