ds has a sleep deprivation eeg tomorrow any one know what will happen?

my ds has a sleep deprivation eeg scan tomorrow dont know what to expect or what the doctors are looking for. Really worried any advice welcome. Ds has mental health problems dont know if its any thing to do with this.

Hi my son had this test last month, they basically glued little probes on his head, sat him in a chair and got him to watch tv for around 15 mins and then asked him to go to sleep for around 45 mins. The probes are attached to a machine which records the brainwaves. He had the test done to see if he has epilepsy. hth.
