have heard of valerian root for adults (yes it does work). Assume the drops are a milder version?

It says it's valerian root extract(1:1) 1000mg, I have no idea what it means, which is I am confused if I should try on my DS1 who is just 2.8 year old Confused

Not used it on the dcs, but it works a treat on my dogs. Couldn't live without the stuff around bonfire night!

Seriously though, I believe valerian is a common component in lots of those herbal sleeping pills like Kalms, but they aren't recommended for children.

Vogel do valerian and hops but again, not recommended for under 18s.

I did find the following quote: "The World Health Organization contraindicates the use of valerian in children under 12 years of age without medical supervision" on this site and more information on this one.
