Small turn in DD 2.5 eye-what to do??

My DD2.5 has a slight turn in one eye, up until recently i was the only one who had noticed it (and only when she is daydreaming) but recently she has started with a childminder who has also noticed it (and told me a few weeks ago).
As she is waiting for a developmental assesment by a peadiatrician in the hospital i decided to wait and mention it then as it does not seem to be bothering her and we have been concentrating on other issues at the moment (SALT,communication, etc)
I am hoping the hosp appointment will be no later than March so do you think it can wait until then or is it likely to get worse/ or be bothering DD?
Childminder asked if I had seen somebody about it today so Im feeling a bit bad now that i havnt yet (she did also comment though that she thought it was getting better)
Also she said that you can just take them to optician about it?

Hi ds1 had glasses when he was 2 for this reason. Get you HV to refer you to the optician and go from there

with such a littlie it's best to ask gp for referral to local eye hosp.

dd2 had hers from v small.

get the referral in anyway, and then when you have your appointment in march the paed can chase it if you haven't had an appt through.

agree with outofbody, get a referral to local eye hospital via GP. I would not put it off until March. dev paed would probably also refer to eye hospital.

I had for that reasons glasses from 2.5 onwards (but got rid of them again at 5).

another vote for gp and eye unit Smile the sooner it's picked up the easier it is to deal with. They'll also do a proper eye test when they check the squint which is always a good thing to have checked.

just adding to the gp / health viz referral to opthalmology
