Hi all, just wanted to post what might be a bit of useful info, ds has had TAC meetings (which got rolled into his statement Annual review last year) my lovely lead professional now has to bow out, as she is linked to pre-school services, so non longer involved.
I still want a lead professional, (seperate from Education stuff), as I want to be able to poke professionals, but at 'arms length', IYSWIM.
I have asked the worker from one of the groups ds is involved in (won't give more details here) to be his lead worker instead, and she is up for it... gives her more experience, and we can work together well.
Just wanted to post this as I know some people have not had good experiences with lead profs, I believe rules say we can pick anyone involved, and maybe picking someone seemingly 'Peripheral' does give a bit more flexibility, and bring some extra knowledge, also worker might be a bit more free to get involved..
