Ds,13 has impetigo on hi chin and has been given ab's in liquid form.
He refuses to take them, we have tried in strong juice, syringing and in yogurt. He is refusing all, or holding it in his mouth for upto 2 minutes before spitting it out. He is now distresed and wary when we give him a drink.

Any tips on how we can get them down him, tablets are a no no as well,he spits them out.

ditch, speak to gp. can be common side effect. there are probably alternative meds. some gps ask you to give it a couple of weeks to allow side effects to settle as some of them are just temporary.

but speak to gp.
