Any recommendations? Wirral/Merseyside ASD/Language delay

My DD is 2 and has speech & language delay, and has recently been diagnosed with ASD. Also her pronounciation varies enormously from fairly clear occasionally, to a real blur of sounds - we don't know why.

I'm trying to find some extra speech therapy for her, as we only see our SALT every 4-5 months, and it's difficult for her to assess my DD as my DD tends to scream/run away as she doesn't know her.

Does anyone have any experience of finding a private SALT in the Wirral/Liverpool area? - or any general ASD helpful contacts/practitioners in my area? I've already tried Googling and I've tried a Mumsnet search, but not found very much, which is why I'm asking. Any experience or info v much appreciated.

have sent you a PM. Also are you aware of your local NAS branches, am pretty sure Wirral has one, also there is a support group in Liverpool called Parent Interest Group.
