Just this week DS has started asking why questions.

Signandsing started a thread recently about her DS asking why questions, which I showed to my DH. So we've been targetting 'why' and it's worked!

I have to remember to be happy about progress that DS is making instead of always dwelling on the many things he still needs to improve....

Anyway, thank you signandsing if you're reading this.

oodles you have made my day! Grin so thrilled for you and oodlet!

(PS, I always feel there are so many clued up experienced women on here, I am always happy to be supportive, but often feel I don't have much useful info to offer, so to know something we have worked out for ourselves has been useful to someone else is fab! Grin and if anyone else out there is feeling like me, take heart! Grin Wink

I keep having to pinch myself when he asks them....
We tried to model simple why questions to demonstrate that why doesn't have to lead to big long confusing answers.

signandsmile I think this is what's called a virtuous circle.
