Sorry for the title but it is as is says really.
I have posted here a fair few times and eventually had a child psychologist from cahms out to our house for a few hours.

She said she thought our 'problem' was behavioural and is treating my daughter as an anxious child.

She gave me a few strategies (which i am struggling with) and said she will get us play therapy?

I am on my own a lot due to husband working away and if there is anyone to talk to and bounce ideas then this is great. I am jut unsure where now i need to post.

Thanks ;)

Anxiety is an SN as far as I am concerned, it can be very disabling[sp].

My Dd3 suffers from anxiety but it is related to her ASD, it is really hard to deal with and I have had lots of support from this board.

I will write more later when the kids in bed but am fuming at the moment and upset. Had leaflets on how to play with your child through the post! Lots of info on giving your child attention and praise. Feel really upset. I do that already!!

I wouldnt let it get to you, they send them to everyone as standard.
They dont know who does this and who doesnt so send it to all to cover all bases. MY faviourite was still the "how about this parenting course lisad123", my reply "well it might be a little difficult seeing as Im running it"! Grin
