Hello folks, In need of some advice. My son was statemented last year. His orginall statement was issued in Feb but we went to tribunal (well nearly) and consequently his statement was not finalised until late July.
Hi school have just sent me a date for the annual review next month. I dont want to do it yet as from my point of view he will only have had a term and a half with the statement in place, and I had such a fighjt with the lea I am sure that as soon as we do the review I 'll be fighting them again.
Does anyone know if the annual review goes from the date the first statement was issued, or the date it was finalised? Obviously lots of the things we managed to get in in July, were not in place during the 6 months they were delaying, so it seems too soon to review to me.
Just wondered if anyone else had come across theis or could point me in the right direction. Also what should I expect from the reivew? Ive been asked to write a parental contribution, what sorts of things have you included.
