Stitched up by ds (4 yrs) - I'm a happy bunny!

Went to get ds (4yrs - sli and asd tendancies) up for school today - lying in bed looking sorry for himself saying he had a sore tummy. He's been a bit quiet for the last couple of days so I assumed he was coming down with something so told him he could stay in bed and not go to school.

Anyway an hour later he comes bouncing down the stairs - we're talking tigger here - and says me hungry, want breakfast!

Sitting with him while he had a huge breakfast he turns round and says "Ha ha tricked you mummy" Shock

This is a child who takes everything you say literally, struggles to grasp new concepts unless explained in mind-numbing detail over and over again and has shown little or no imaginative play - he played a trick! Smile And thought of it himself!Grin

So he's had a day off school and I've had a really proud mummy moment today. won't get away with it again mind you
